What type of restaurant is Jinbeh?
Jinbeh is a family-owned Japanese restaurant serving hibachi (teppanyaki) and sushi in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since the Matsuda family founded Jinbeh in 1988. We operate two locations: Frisco at 2693 Preston Road near Stonebriar Centre and Toyota Stadium, and Lewisville at 2440 S Stemmons Freeway near Vista Ridge Mall. Our menu centers on tableside hibachi cooking, fresh sushi, and traditional Japanese entrΓ©es like ramen, tempura, and donburi. Jinbeh is not a chain or franchise; we are independently still family-owned and operated. We are best known for our signature mustard sauce, fried rice, and the teppanyaki performance our chefs put on at every hibachi table.
Jinbeh has been a fixture in DFW dining for more than three decades, originally opening in Lewisville before adding the Frisco location to serve growing North Texas. While many guests come to us for the hibachi show, our sushi program is just as serious, daily fish selections, classic nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls developed over years of refinement. We are a full-service sit-down restaurant with hibachi tables, sushi bar seating, traditional dining tables, and a full bar featuring sake, Japanese whisky, beer, and wine. Because we are family-owned, you will often see the same chefs, servers, and managers year after year. That continuity is unusual in the restaurant industry and is one of the reasons OpenTable guests have rated us 4.6 stars in Frisco and 4.7 stars in Lewisville across more than 1,000 combined reviews.
