Hibachi & Teppanyaki at Jinbeh

Dinner and a show in one. Premium cuts seared tableside, the onion volcano, and a tradition North Texas has loved for over 35 years.

What Is Hibachi at Jinbeh?

Hibachi at Jinbeh is teppanyaki, a style of Japanese cooking where your chef prepares your meal on a flat iron grill built right into your table. You watch premium proteins like filet mignon, New York strip, shrimp, scallops, and salmon get seared in front of you, complete with knife work, the famous onion volcano, and plenty of laughs. Every hibachi dinner comes with onion soup, house salad with ginger dressing, grilled vegetables, and steamed rice. It is dinner and a show in one, and Jinbeh has served it to North Texas families since the Matsuda family opened our doors in 1988.

Where do I go for Jinbeh hibachi?

Jinbeh Lewisville, just off I-35E near Vista Ridge Mall, is the home of the Jinbeh hibachi experience. Our former Frisco dining room closed in August 2026. The chefs cook on electric teppanyaki grills, and the tableside show, from the knife work to the onion volcano, is the same one families have loved since 1988.

Is hibachi good for kids and celebrations?

Yes. The flames, the onion volcano, and the chef's tricks keep children entertained, and we offer training chopsticks. Hibachi tables seat parties together around one grill, which makes them a favorite for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and family gatherings. For larger parties, a reservation lets us seat everyone together.

Do I need a reservation for hibachi?

Reservations are strongly recommended on weekends and for groups, since hibachi tables seat parties together around the grill. Walk ins are welcome when seating allows. You can book online through OpenTable for either location.

Can I get hibachi to go or catered?

Yes. Hibachi favorites are available for pickup and delivery through online ordering, and Jinbeh caters hibachi platters for offices and events. The full tableside show stays at the restaurant, where it is at its best. For larger catering orders, please allow about one week of notice so everything is prepared fresh.
