Is Jinbeh Frisco or Lewisville better?

Both Jinbeh Frisco and Lewisville are excellent, they share the same menu, recipes, family ownership, and standards. The 'better' question really depends on what you mean. OpenTable ratings give Lewisville a slight edge (4.7 stars across 427+ reviews vs Frisco's 4.6 stars across 601+ reviews). Frisco tends to be busier and runs gas hibachi grills with slightly more dramatic flame effects. Lewisville is often easier for last-minute reservations and uses electric hibachi grills with very even heat. Pick based on location (which is closer to you), availability on the date you want, and personal preference. Both locations are family-still family-owned and operated and have been refining the same recipes since 1988.

Many DFW guests have a preference based on which location they grew up going to, generational loyalty is real. From a quality standpoint, the two restaurants are functionally identical: same recipes, same sushi standards, same teppanyaki training, same family ownership. The differences are subtle and personal. Frisco's neighborhood (Stonebriar/Toyota Stadium) is busier and brings more event-night energy. Lewisville's neighborhood (Vista Ridge/I-35E) is calmer and easier to navigate. Gas grills (Frisco) feel slightly more dramatic during the show; electric grills (Lewisville) give chefs more precise temperature control. If you live in the middle of the metroplex, try both and decide for yourself, most guests end up with a slight preference but rarely a strong one.
