Servers remember regulars by name and have welcomed three generations of the same families for 20, 25, even 30+ years. Birthdays get three special touchpoints: the chef giving the birthday guest the spotlight during the hibachi show, a complimentary birthday dessert, and a $25 gift card for the birthday month. Kids receive hand-folded origami cranes from a basket by the door, plus training chopsticks and a lollipop. Authentic Japanese touches, including a traditional kimono displayed at the Frisco location, set the atmosphere. Every sauce is made fresh in-house, with the signature garlic butter prepared the day before. Each location features unique specialty sushi rolls, some co-created by regular guests through the omakase experience.
