Does Jinbeh accommodate food allergies?

Yes, Jinbeh takes food allergies seriously at both Frisco and Lewisville locations and accommodates common allergies daily, including gluten, dairy, peanut, tree nut, shellfish, soy, sesame, and egg allergies. Tell your server about any allergy as soon as you arrive, and remind your hibachi chef when they reach your table. For severe allergies (anaphylactic-level), we can clean grill surfaces, use separate utensils, and cook your portion in a dedicated area to reduce cross-contamination. Our kitchen tracks common allergen ingredients across the menu and can identify safe options. Some menu items inherently contain allergens (shellfish in many sushi rolls, soy in most sauces, gluten in tempura) and may not be modifiable, your server will guide you.

Cross-contamination is the biggest risk at any restaurant, especially on a hibachi grill where many proteins are cooked in sequence on the same surface. Our chefs follow standard protocols: wipe down the grill, use clean spatulas, and isolate the allergen-sensitive portion when needed. For peanut and tree nut allergies, Jinbeh does not feature peanuts prominently, we are not a Thai or Chinese kitchen, but trace cross-contact is possible from shared kitchen spaces. For severe nut allergies, communicate this clearly and we will check ingredient lists. Shellfish allergy is more challenging because shrimp is cooked on the same grill regularly; we can mitigate but not eliminate cross-contact. Always disclose severity (sensitivity vs anaphylaxis) so we can match precaution level.
