Does Jinbeh have tofu?

Yes, Jinbeh serves tofu at both Frisco and Lewisville locations as part of the vegetarian and vegan hibachi entrées and as an option in soups and salads. Tofu hibachi includes firm tofu cooked on the grill alongside vegetables, fried rice, and the chef's tableside performance, it gets the same treatment as the meat-based hibachi entrées with the choice of mustard, ginger, or yum yum sauce. For vegan diners, request no butter on the grill and steamed rice instead of fried (which contains egg). Tofu also appears in some miso soup preparations and can be added to sushi rolls as inari (sweet tofu pouches) or in custom vegetable rolls. Confirm preparation details with your server based on dietary needs.

Tofu hibachi is one of our most-popular vegetarian entrées because it scratches the hibachi itch, same show, same fried rice, same sauces, without meat. Firm tofu grills well and absorbs the flavors of the grill, garlic, and sauces. For vegan guests, the trick is asking for the cooking modifications (oil instead of butter, no egg in rice or skip fried rice) so the dish stays plant-based. Mixed groups work easily: one diner can order tofu hibachi while others have chicken or steak, all cooked simultaneously by the chef. Inari sushi (sweet, marinated tofu pouches filled with sushi rice) is another tofu-based option from the sushi side of the menu. Quick, vegan, and a nice palate-cleanser between rolls.
